What Drama Classes Can I Take at Wesley Chapel High School?
Pasco County students have been taking Drama classes at Wesley Chapel High School since it first opened in 1999. Since opening, it has grown from only two class periods to a full 4-year program with two full-time teachers, a general Theater course for everyone, and specialty classes in Acting, Design Production, and Writing.
Technical Theater & Design 1
open to all students; no prerequisites
beginning in 2017-18 : Technical Theater & Design 2!
Want to work backstage in a production? Learn the basics of design, and all of the backstage secrets of a show.
You’ll learn how to design sets and backgrounds, design and build costumes, use social media to make a publicity campaign, and create light, sound, and makeup designs.
You will also earn real-life experience helping to produce a live show in our Wesley Chapel Center for the Arts
